About

Welcome to Walts Writing! I am an English Professor committed to helping people feel more confident about what and how they write. I specialize in helping high school students with college application essays and working professionals with job application letters. I spent over a decade teaching at the college level and have served on selection committees for awards, scholarships,  job searches. I know what it takes to move an application essay and letter from the “meh” pile to the “Yes!” pile. I also know what makes readers groan and what delights them. Walts Writing is devoted to helping people strengthen their writing skills to achieve their dreams . Feel free to leave comments and contact me with any questions. I am available for one-on-one coaching and tutoring services.
